Southville Primary is closed until Monday 22nd February
Following the government announcement on Wednesday 30th December 2020, all schools will be closed until after the February half term.
Remote Learning will start for all children on Tuesday 5th January on Google Classroom. (Log in details stapled in Home School Diaries).
School will be open for children of critical workers, children with EHCPs and and vulnerable pupils only from Tuesday 5th January. Parents must have had their child's place confirmed before bringing them to school.
Starting Nursery in 2021 |
This year due to Covid-19, the borough is discouraging parent/carers to attend the school to collect the application forms; so they have made an editable version and printable version of the Nursery admission form.
The brochure, flyer and application forms will be available on the Nursery class page on the Hounslow website from 1st January 2021.
Parent/carers can return the application via email directly to the school with the scanned documents to:

Increasing data allowances on mobile devices |
The government have announced a scheme for increasing data allowances on mobile devices to support disadvantaged children.
This scheme temporarily increases data allowances for mobile phone users on certain networks.
This is so that children and young people can access remote education if their face-to-face education is disrupted.
Children with access to a mobile phone on one of the following networks might be able to benefit:
• Three
• Smarty
• Virgin Mobile
• EE
• Tesco Mobile
• Sky Mobile

Other providers may join the scheme at a later stage.

Complete the form below if you are part of one of the mentioned networks and feel as though your child's Remote Learning experience would benefit from an increased data allowance.

We will be providing online learning for all children, using Google Classroom.
If you are having any technical difficulties, please refer to the guides before phoning/emailing.
If you are unable to resolve the issues, please take a screenshot and email it in to the Year Group emails.
The Remote Learning schedule:
Nursery, Reception and Year 1
The teachers will be delivering live lessons at:
9.00 – 9.30, and then there will be activities for the children to do.
11.30 – 12.00, where they will show and talk about what they have done, and have a story time.
Years 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6
The teachers will be delivering live lessons at:
9.30 to 10.45 – Reading and Writing
11.00 to 12.00 – Maths
All year groups will be given activities to do at home in the afternoons, which will cover other areas of the curriculum.
There will also be occasional live whole class wellbeing sessions for children to join in with, and pre-recorded whole school assemblies for the children to watch.

A £15 FSM vouchers will be sent to parents/carers each week from Schoolvouchers.com, please see the instructions below on how to access these.
